Altamira Terminal Portuaria (ATP) is a subsidiary of Grupo Mexgal, a 100% Mexican corporation. MEXGAL is an independent group with extensive experience in international transportation and port operations.
Our comprehensive approach to customer service has driven us to steadily increase productivity rates, positioning us as the most competitive port operator on an international level. At ATP, we are committed to providing high-quality services. In October 1995, as a result of Mexico’s privatization of port infrastructure, ATP was awarded the TUM No. 1 concession at the port of Altamira. We have successfully operated the terminal, achieving new levels of productivity and competitiveness with a total focus on customer service, through ongoing investments in infrastructure, yard and dock equipment, technology, and—most importantly—our human resources.

Our staff is qualified to respond to all service requests within minutes with the help of state-of-the-art operating systems, which allow us to monitor all activity at the terminal, including the yard, gate, and loading dock.
