Scope of the Comprehensive Management System

Scope certified under ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015The scope of ATP’s Comprehensive Quality and Environmental Management System is the “Comprehensive Operation of a Maritime Terminal Specializing in the Handling of Containers, General Cargo, and Automobiles,” a scope that includes “port operation services; loading/unloading maneuvers, delivery/ receipt of containers, automobiles, and general cargo; inventory control, consolidation and deconsolidation of containers; EIR, monitoring of refrigerated containers, and warehousing,” taking into account all of the organization’s processes and activities within the port premises that impact our core services—from the identification of customer requirements and those of other stakeholders, identification of environmental aspects, potential emergencies, legal requirements, and our own internal requirements, through to the measurement of customer satisfaction and compliance, and the implementation of continuous improvement; and it is based on the International Standards ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015, complying with all requirements specified therein, without applying Clause 8.3, “Design and Development of Products and Services,” since our services are based on rates and operating rules issued and authorized by the Secretariat of the Navy, as well as subclause f of clause 8.5.1, since the outputs of all our processes can be verified through monitoring and measurement activities in accordance with the International Standard ISO 9001, since due to the nature of the organization and the services we offer, they are not applicable; furthermore, the non-applicability of these requirements does not affect the organization’s ability or its responsibility to ensure the conformity of products and services and to increase customer satisfaction.

That is why we implemented our quality management system, achieving ISO 9001 certification for all our processes in May 2002, covering our comprehensive operations as a maritime terminal specializing in the handling of containers, general cargo, and automobiles.

In compliance with the international provisions of the International Maritime , at ATP we have implemented our port facility security plan in accordance with the guidelines established in the ISPS Code, thereby achieving and maintaining the Port Facility Declaration of Compliance Certification since 2004.
As part of our commitment to society and environmental preservation, , in 2014 we integrated compliance with international environmental management requirements , creating a Comprehensive Quality and Environmental Management System certified under the ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards.

As of November 2018, ATP was awarded the Environmental Quality Certificate from PROFEPA’s “Clean Industry” program, thereby reaffirming our commitment to society and the environment.
